Dorcas offers, from Monday to Saturday, a qualified comprehensive care service for children and teenagers through PAICA, with approximately 250 children, teenagers and their families in situations of vulnerability and social risk.
PAICA complies with the Social Assistance Policy in its basic protection and carries out the Socializing and Bonds Strengthening Service (SCFV - Portuguese acronym). Its objective is to promote comprehensive care for children and teenagers in situations of vulnerability and social risk from Almirante Tamandaré, giving new meaning to adversities and developing their potential and protagonism, in order to contribute to socio-community development.
We do this through activities that are part of the SCFV, which targets children and teenagers aged 4 to 18 who experience situations of weakened bonds, especially beneficiaries of income transfer programs and/or referred by the services of the Basic and Special Social Protection.
PAICA provides an environment for integral development, socialization and strengthening family and community bonds, in order to overcome situations of risk and social vulnerability and rescue and restore the personal values of each individual, highlighting their potential through sport, art, culture, scouting and music.
